    Take a photo on your phone at home: any even lighting and any background will do.

    Preparation

    AI sets a plain background, straightens your head, and fits the size to the document you’ve chosen.

    Check

    The service checks the size, background, head position, and margins against the document’s requirements.

  • 04

    Files

    You get a JPG for online applications and a PDF with a 10×15 cm sheet for printing.

Where the 98.6% comes from

We count requests for a refund or about problems with a photo and compare them with the number of successful purchases from May 2026 to today. 98.6% of paid orders had no such requests.

These are SelfieDoc’s own statistics, not government data. The final decision on accepting a photo is made by the organization where you submit your documents.

If your photo doesn’t work out

  • We’ll help

    Our support team will figure out what went wrong and help you redo the photo.

  • We’ll refund your money

    If it can’t be fixed, we’ll refund your payment under the terms and within the time frames of the Public Offer Agreement.

  • We handle your photos with care

    Storage periods for photos and finished files are set out in the Public Offer Agreement; after that, everything is deleted.
